Our Mission Vision
LHPRC exists to save and change lives through the gospel and love of Jesus Christ by providing services, support, and education to women and families facing a pregnancy situation or already raising children, in a safe, non-judgemental & encouraging environment.
LHPRC has been in operation since 2005, as a resource center for pregnant girls/women as well as for mothers, fathers, grandparents, relatives, or a foster parent raising child(ren). We offer an "Earn While You Learn" program which enables participants to earn clothing, diapers, baby equipment, household items and more for their children and families.
We do not require any qualifications for our programs or services and have serviced many clients not just from our local area but also from 36 different cities & towns in and around our surrounding states.
LHPRC hosts a community program called "S.H.A.P.E (Sexual Health Awareness Prevention Education) for middle school age children in and around Delaware County, OK. We also offer free pregnancy testing, peer counseling, parenting classes/education, Bible studies, speaker availability, mentorship program & adoption referrals.
LHPRC is a faith-based 501 (C) 3 organization and relies solely on both monetary and physical donations from individuals, churches and a few local businesses. We do not receive any government funding.
OUR CORE VALUES
What we Live, Work and Serve by:
We are an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His church. Therefore, we are committed to presenting the gospel in both word and deed to women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy.
We are committed to providing our clients with accurate information about prenatal development, adoption, parenting, abortions, sexual integrity, marriage & divorce.
We are committed to integrity in dealing with clients, earning their trust, and providing promised information and services.
We are committed to helping women and families make life-affirming decisions by providing emotional support, education, and material assistance. Through the provision of God's people and the community at large, our clients may face the future with hope and plan constructively for themselves and their families.
We do not discriminate in providing services because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, or military status of our clients.
We are unashamedly pro-life in our principles and practices and believe in the sanctity of human life and that life begins at conception. We do not recommend, provide or refer for abortion or abortion facilities. However, we realize this is an option available to clients, so we counsel on the procedures and risks with those considering it.
All our services are free of charge, however, they may be a material cost for some provided classes.
